Job Summary
Responsible for the administration, implementation, performance, and ongoing development of Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF)’s Salesforce database and applications. This position supports the organization with technical consultation, collaborates with end-users, and serves as a secondary point of contact to external technology vendors to ensure applications are meeting business and policy requirements for data availability, security, and integrity. This position partners with the Salesforce Lead Developer and IT team to increase efficiency, productivity and streamline processes through analyzing and implementing new features, while maintaining a sustainable infrastructure that supports several complex business processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Salesforce Lead Administrator with daily administration and support of DSF’s Salesforce database including but not limited to user and profile setup, creation of custom objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, sandbox refresh/set up, workflows, release management, and maintaining two experience cloud portals.
- Maintain existing Salesforce Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components independently and in collaboration with the Salesforce Lead Administrator.
- Maintain existing forms and form tools API integration connected to Salesforce.
- Periodically collaborates with contracted Salesforce Architects and Developers to design and develop major solutions beyond the scope and skillset of the DSF IT Team.
- Create and maintain documentation related to software system administration, processes and procedures.
- Stay up to date with new software features and functionality of Salesforce releases and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Create and update documentation related to software system administration, processes and procedures.
- Automate processes using Salesforce Flows to increase productivity.
- Collaborate with the IT team to provide end-users with systems training, guided documentation, consultation, and technical support.
- Work with departments to understand business requirements and rules, create functional requirement specifications translating into technical specifications for development and deployment of solutions.
- Serve as backup for the Salesforce Lead Administrator as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of CRM database systems, development/administration concepts, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining Salesforce flows.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce sharing rules and permission sets.
- Strong Salesforce specific click-based configuration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and system documentation practices.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies.
- Self-directed, highly organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Advanced knowledge in data cleansing and transformation, importing and exporting, querying, reporting, and analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Computer Science/Technical Communications fields or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Salesforce administrator
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).
- Experience working in a DevOps process using change sets or deployment management tools like Gearset.
- Experience assisting staff remotely and in-person.
Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000 to $101,000

This position operates on a hybrid work model, with 2 days per week working remotely and 3 days in the office.
