Position Summary:
Engage with museum guests to boost program sales, including memberships, parties, rentals, classes, and camps. Lead weekend operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing sales conversions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead weekend operations, addressing staff and visitor concerns, and liaise with the Mall.
- Supervise/train staff and volunteers in weekend operations.
- Act as the point person for any action taken during weekend operations.
- Conduct tours for all guests, aiming to enroll 10% in memberships with a 50% closing rate.
- Achieve a monthly goal of 20 new memberships post-probation period (first 90 days).
- Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and encourage renewals.
- Upsell daily admissions to memberships while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Promote, book, and confirm parties, rentals, and events, maintaining accurate records.
- Manage program registrations using CRM software.
- Conduct proactive outreach to expiring members and prospective bookings.
- Collaborate across departments to meet sales goals and enhance the reservation process.
- Train and motivate staff on membership and program sales.
- Coordinate event logistics, including entertainment, equipment, and vendor management.
- Plan and execute events, considering different scenarios and themes.
- Provide monthly attendance and financial reports.
- Oversee registration and cancellation processes.
- Actively recruit vendors for YAAffers program and coordinate promotions with the Marketing Department.
- Assist in facility maintenance and perform other duties as assigned.
