The Des Moines area Sales Representative will provide sales and marketing support to the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing and to our amazing customers.
This position will familiarize themselves with all Anderson Erickson product lines and help the sales team develop and execute sales strategies. The qualified candidate must be a strategic thinking and innovative planner that can identify business opportunities, build positive customer relations and maintain account relationships while seeking and cultivating new accounts.
The Sales Associate will be assist in the managing and implementing of focus product programs and key account sales strategies. The Sales Associate will assist the Sales team in communicating (presentations) of KPI to Sales team members and company leadership.
REQUIRED PREREQUISITES:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A company vehicle is provided for this position.
- A bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or a related field of study.
- We would also consider candidates who are recent college graduates with entry level job experience.
- Must be customer focused.
- This position requires a experience in progressively higher sales or marketing positions, preferably in the food industry or with consumer packaged goods. Will consider candidates who have completed a formal professional internship that had same or similar duties and responsibilities.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Experience or formal education in planning and developing sales strategies.
- Represent our company in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships.
- This role will work five (5) days per week- Saturdays are required.
