This is a remote field position to be based in a home office in the Dallas metro area.
As Sales Manager you will design and implement sales programs using analytics and market analysis to achieve assigned targets selling our products with convenience customers including Circle K, Love's, CEFCO, Delek, and Yesway for iconic brands such as Slim Jim, David, Bigs, Duke's and Andy Capp's. Lead customer relationships and provide strategic priorities and leadership to two broker partners in multiple market areas across a five-state region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana). Create sales goals, manage market analysis, coordinate retail execution, help create and develop merchandising solutions and manage administrative tasks. You will report to a Vice President of Sales.
What You'll Do:
- Create and execute our business plan through the annual business cycle. Work to maximize the business plan sales and profit within brand strategies and guidelines.
- Analyze consumption data, shipment data, and internal financial metrics to create strategies consistent with assigned goals.
- Conduct market analysis to determine customer needs, measure opportunity, and propose financials for sales accounts.
- Manage development activities and coordinate volume and profit goals.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Give sales presentations to clients in coordination with broker representatives for sales accounts and ensure sales service.
- Communicate and track key performance indicators with the team.
- Up to 30% regional travel.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years progressive sales experience, to include Convenience Store account management
- Demonstrated sales management experience managing multiple product categories and customers. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in sales, trade and marketing concepts and methods.
- Experience in customer relations and promotions management.
- Experience interpreting and using multiple information sources to develop strategy.
- Experience in trade spending management; fiscal responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v lookup, pivot tables).
- Experience leading and coaching others.
