Sales Business Development Manager
Job Description/Responsibilities:
· Develop sales strategy/business plan to achieve 10% in 2023 with 30-35% targeted GM
· Maintain a top 20 Prospect list to secure new business
· Outbound cold calls, in person and virtual Teams meetings, competitive analysis, trade shows and follow up activity coordinated within the plan
· Collaborate with team to identify, qualify and prioritize new opportunities
· Build solid sales funnel by actively hunting new prospects via LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, door knocking, internal leads and prior connections
· Build new and leverage existing relationships with executives and other influential “mobilizers”
· Drive new accounts and growth through every stage of the selling process and customer journey
· Create formal networks with key decision makers and continually build a strong understanding of all aspects of the selling process
· Prospect under-penetrated accounts and/or cross-sell multiple solutions
· Provide ‘on demand’ sales support to customers
· Support Customer Success team to ensure health and retention of customers
· Be a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their business and advising on how we can help their service optimization.
· Identify the key specialist/ support resources to bring into a deal, at the right time
· Drive sales process management, opportunity closure, and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and help drive additional revenue streams
· Stay current on Account Territory opportunities for sales, pre-sales, and all leads developed by each Representative.
· Join local Networking Groups and establish strong relationships with aligned Account Reps
Expectations:
· Digital Sales Funnel Updated weekly with accurate revenue and deal value, stage advancement and close dates
· Top 25 Prospect List upon hire
· 10 weekly client/prospect meetings to include pre-call plan and set agenda
· Alignment with Area Account Reps for new leads
· Active Participation in all marketing campaigns
