Job description

Due to the growth in our Atlanta market, we are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, margin, and market share growth by selling customer valued solutions across a defined market.

How you will do it

  • Sales Management: Utilize your minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience, to lead and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide guidance and coaching to ensure the team achieves their goals.

  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase market share. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate and close sales deals.

  • CRM Utilization: Utilize your experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to effectively manage the sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and analyze sales data. Leverage this information to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales performance.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Interact with internal and customer organizations at both the senior executive and field level. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the market. Identify target markets, generate leads, and establish new business opportunities.

  • Meet sales targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, closing deals, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct market research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and customer needs. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their requirements. Utilize this knowledge to tailor sales presentations and proposals.

  • Manage the sales process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sale support. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on value added solutions and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

  • Provide product expertise: Stay informed about new products and technologies to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Provide feedback and insights to help improve product offerings and customer experience.

What we look for

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience in a business-to-business environment or successful management of another sales channel.

  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
