What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an AP Automation & Corporate Card Sales Engineer within our Fleet division. This position falls under our Fuel line of business and is located remotely with 25% travel. In this role, In this role you will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business. You will report directly to the Manager of Sales Engineering and regularly collaborate with our large sales team selling our AP Automation and Corporate Card products.
How We Work
As a Sales Engineer, you will be expected to work in a remote environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in home office

  • Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Presenting AP Automation & Corporate Card technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
  • Working hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
  • Maintaining deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position our solutions in relation to them.
  • Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve our products and marketing.
  • Collaborating hand in hand with sales teams to identify opportunities for AP Automation and Corporate Cards
  • Assisting with answering technical questions along the sales process.
  • Partnering with sale’s leadership, marketing, product, and engineering.
  • 25% travel occasionally to meet with business and sale’s teams
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years in customer facing role
  • Demo software products for customers from c-suite to managers
  • Understanding of AP Automation, Corporate Cards, and Basic Accounting Principles
  • Intermediate to Expert in Presentation Building (e.g. PowerPoint)
  • Strong Presentation Skills & Be an advisor to customers
  • Ability to communicate the business value and/or ROI of proposed programs, strong financial selling skills
  • Four year degree
This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At FLEETCOR, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $56,000-$126,000.
