Sales Engineer

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Houston, TX.

Summary:*
Under the guidance of the Business Development manager and the CEO, our client is looking for an experienced Substation Sales Engineer to Join our growing business. The successful candidate will have demonstrated domain expertise in substation sales, with a focus on data centers and industrial clients.
Responsibilities:

• Locate and qualify independent leads for substation development in various vertical channels, such

as Solar, Wind, Data Centers, Fossil based Power Generation as well as industrial customers.

• Work with Engineering and Projects to develop solid price estimates and quotations.
• Stay involved with the projects through the completion.
• Assist in cash collections when required.
• Own the marketing effort by spearheading the attendance of symposiums, trade shows, etc.
• Own the messaging for the Website
• Develop and update the marketing communications collateral.

Qualifications:BS degree (MBA a +) Bi Lingual (Spanish)+ 5-7 Years of experience selling high or medium voltage
equipment, and services.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:*
While performing the duties of this position the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time; occasionally lift a maximum of 20 pounds; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel. Position may require client-mandated background checking which may include drug/alcohol/driving checks.
