Lean Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an outstanding Lean Manufacturing Engineer who will lead key projects and initiatives, reporting directly to the VP of Operations for a fast-growing, market-leading company.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of my client's manufacturing processes. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality of my client’s products. This role is not just about maintaining the status quo but about pushing boundaries, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Development of value stream maps, defining current state and developing future state, then driving execution towards the future state by leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles, eliminating waste, and improving Quality.
- Lead development and design of assembly fixturing, poka yoke assembly jigs, and assembly conveyance devices to support flow, ergonomics, and quality while improving efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and engineering standards are met.
- Support facility layouts and manufacturing process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with a preference for those holding Project Management and Lean Manufacturing certifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
