We are looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to help grow our client's enterprise software and network solutions business. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals eager to embark on a sales career or those in the early stages of their sales journey. You will undergo a comprehensive two-week training program followed by a 3-4 quarter ramp period. In this role, you will be responsible for booking and hosting a minimum of 50 meetings each quarter, conducting 10 weekly demos on Zoom, and actively participating in daily and weekly scrums and pipeline calls with the team. Success in this role hinges on your ability to embrace cold-calling activities and be a proficient storyteller, managing leads and fostering relationships with current and potential clients. While prior sales experience is advantageous, we welcome individuals with a keen willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
About You:
- You are comfortable with a base salary range of $72,500 - $80,000, plus on-target commissions of $100,000-$150,000 commissions are uncapped and paid quarterly.
- You are prepared to work onsite at the NYC Flatiron office location.
- You have 1-2 years of in-office SDR sales experience with a SaaS based or enterprise based B2B product
- You demonstrate success in sales by tracking calls per week, demo's per week, performance against quota etc
- Eager to understand the intricacies of our products and the professionals who engage with them
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability for personal and team performance
- Results-driven with a relentless focus on achieving sales outcomes
- Ability to close deals within the expected sales cycle
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks when necessary
What You'll Do:
- Join a team of 20+ highly successful sale people in a fast growing pre-IPO company based in NYC
- Maintain and expand the sales pipeline without reliance on leads from Marketing
- Proactively contact, prospect, and develop new business accounts through strategic cold calling
- Regularly communicate progress with sales management
- Close deals within the expected sales cycle, demonstrating negotiation and closure skills
- Develop and cultivate a defined territory for strategic sales growth
- Provide accurate and consistent pipeline forecasting
- Conduct product demonstrations via virtual platforms for clients
- Establish and nurture customer relationships to become a trusted advisor
- Represent the company at relevant trade shows and conferences
