**This is a  HYBRID position – 3 days onsite (915 Broadway NY, NY) and 2 days remote.**

What you will be doing: 

As a Marketing team member, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be focused on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification to generate conversations, calls, and meetings for the Business Development team. This is an in-house position working closely with the Vice President of Demand Generation to define target verticals, industries, and businesses. As the SDR, you will be responsible for seeking the appropriate individuals at target companies to communicate the Amsive value proposition to create new business opportunities.  

As the first line of communication with prospects, the SDR should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at utilizing technology to research target companies, craft thoughtful and customized emails, lean into social selling, and develop strong pitch phone calls. The ideal candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a strong prospecting playbook, including email and call scripts 
  • Learn Amsive services and effectively communicate value proposition 
  • Create target lists of people for personalized outreach 
  • Identify the needs and pain points of the target prospects 
  • Outreach prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social media 
  • Educate and provide relevant marketing materials to prospects 
  • Set up meetings with prospects for sales team 
  • Qualify, follow up, and engage with warm marketing leads 
  • Help build awareness on events, webinars, and special projects 
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and sales enablement teams  
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM 
  • Report on outreach activities, pipeline, and more 
  • Learn and leverage tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach/Salesloft, Salesforce 

Who you are: 

  • College degree or relevant experience 
  • 0-5 years of SDR experience 
  • Strong desire to learn the business, industry, sales technology, and process 
  • Creative problem-solver and strong analytical skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Excellent listener, self-aware, and energetic, positive presence 
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently 
  • Fearless and willing to speak with new people every day 
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized 
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus 
  • Prior experience as an SDR a plus
