The Sales Development Coordinator will be a key player in Merit's strategy for growth and positioning a SaaS-based platform in the marketplace. Nothing great happens within a company until an exchange of value occurs and a sale is made. The Sales Development Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and executing demos to acquire and maintain client relationships and close new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage new prospects to demonstrate knowledge of Merit's unique and industry specific SaaS-based platform
- S/he will be supported by internal team members and will follow an established sales process
- S/he will be responsible for cold calls & emails to book meetings and present a sales demo to meet quota
- Proactively and efficiently manage potential customer relationships virtually
- Maintain organized sales information in CRM
- Ability to close accounts, increasing monthly reoccurring revenue and enhancing customer relationships

Requirements
- 1-3 years previous sales experience is preferred
- Exhibit leadership skills either as a manager or in extracurricular activities, volunteering, etc.
- Consistent over-achievement in past positions
- Must possess an understanding of basic sales methodologies
- Technically adept, self-motivated, and drive by results
- Strong attention to detail, good listener, good organization skills
- Tools: Experience with utilizing a CRM and Microsoft software a must
