The Sales and Operations Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and managing the daily operations, logistics and customer service of the sales department.
Responsibilities
- Pre-season and in-season order entry, management of orders placed in Joor and Shopify.
- Maintain customer profiles to ensure that all shipping/billing/contact information is consistently up to date.
- Manage product information and assortment by collection and line sheet maintenance in Joor.
- Ecommerce and Wholesale customer service liaison, correspond with customers via phone and e-mail and respond to customers in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- Fulfill requirements from retail partners for samples and style information.
- Work with Sales Director to plan daily/weekly sales order shipments based upon delivery windows and customer priority.
- Manage fulfillment, shipping, receiving and return logistics with warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and items available for immediate delivery to maximize in-season SALES AND ecommerce assortment.
- Help organize and maintain the showroom, stock on hand, samples, and supplies.
- Facilitate and organize sampling and spec requirements for our wholesale accounts.
- Assist with trade show, shopping events and market appointment preparations, attend these events as needed.
Position Requirements
- A minimum of 2+ years in customer service, showroom management, retail management or similar
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong follow up ability
- Ability to liaise not only with customers but also with the warehouse to ensure precise shipments.
- An enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude
- A love for customer service that is communicated both face-to-face and on phone/email.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Interest in fashion, merchandising, styling
Location: 2 days in office (Kenvil, NJ) and three days remote
