The Sales Administrator is an important resource in the Sales and Marketing function of the Organization. They have a variety of tasks that help to drive sales and support the Sales staff. The Sales Administrator is expected to demonstrate organizational skills, multitasking, attention to details, good communication abilities, and basic IT skills. An outstanding team player, they are committed to a high level of dedication to those they partner with.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update mailing lists, new product introduction sheets, pricing, product specifications, and web updates.
- Responsible for maintaining the Marketing and Tradeshow Calendar, including reservations and advertising placement.
- Preparation of trade show booth, materials, and models that are used, and ensure everything is in presentable condition.
- Update portals for both vendors and customers
- Keep abreast of changes in the industry, including maintaining relationships with industry associations.
- Contact customers via phone and email to answer questions, direct feedback to appropriate departments, and check order status. Update customer responses.
- Assist the team including remote salesforce, inside and outside sales, and product manager.
- Assist with phone coverage, and directing calls to the appropriate party.
- Prepare agendas and plan for special projects, meetings, and lunches.
- Record information from meetings or other formal proceedings.
- Assist with information graphics that used in all mediums.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Sales Administrator or similar position preferred.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
