Job Summary:
Serves the company in the following capacities:
- Based in the United States.

- Actively engage with the team to assure Corporate Safety Policies are adhered to.
- Ensures all safety documentation, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintains proficiency in existing safety policies and steers the company in the use of those policies.
- Identifies new policies and recommends the use of those policies which will benefit the company and our customers.
- Identifies the safety training requirements for staff members.
- Reports to the VP Operations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- OSHA 30, NFPA 70E Certification Preferred.
- Candidate will be required to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification within first year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Safety meetings, take meeting minutes and distribute to relevant personnel.
- Conducts Safety Audits – report findings to Operations Management and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
- Knowledge of Health Requirements rules and regulations and ability to monitor compliance.
- Facilitate and develop Safety management plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Maintain relevant Safety logs and documentation.
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant safety training.
- Observes company policies, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
- Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
- Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
- Performs safety inspections both in the office and out on jobsites.
- Maintains Online Safety Programs.
- Run corporate toolbox talks and develop new toolbox talks.
- Audit PPE requirements for general tasks performed by employees (regulations per county/project).

- Can use skills to see the “big picture” as it relates to health, safety and the environment.
- Drive consensus and buy-in among team members with regards to health, safety and the environment.
- Understand the financial or business impacts with regards to the environmental, health and safety initiatives.
- Identify the relevant regulations depending on country specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance to a client’s safety regulations (at a minimum).
- Presents information to clients and other team members with regards to regulations, policies, procedures, plus onboarding of employees.
- Show respect and empathy towards individuals in a multinational project/team.
- Integrate and coach best practices/innovations and roll out to the wider team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Travel required:
- Up to 50% travel, as per project requirements.

- English (fluent) - required.
Work Authorization/Other Requirements:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
