Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Specialist located in Houston, TX. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and laws. The Safety Specialist will work with other employees to identify and control hazards, provide safety training, and conduct accident investigations. The Safety Specialist will develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Experience in Health and Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health

Knowledge of safety regulatory requirements, including OSHA

Strong communication, presentation, and training skills

Experience in safety training and accident investigations

Ability to perform job hazard analysis and risk assessments

Experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
