You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related degree type. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills

• Familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactor systems and function.
• Experience reading and gathering inputs from engineering drawings.
• Experience building and exercising computer models of thermal hydraulic systems and components.
• Familiarity with the Safety Analyses necessary to support the licensing basis for commercial nuclear power plants.
• Display positive and effective team interaction.

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Safety Analysis Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include working with various Engineering teams to support the creation of computer models used to perform Safety Analysis simulations. Collecting data from internal or customer provided source references to populate and document databases. Create and implement process improvements to more efficiently gather data and build models. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $72,000 - $96,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
