Job Description
- Manage tasks and resources, overseeing projects independently.
- Provide performance-based design solutions such as fire modeling, egress modeling and develop code plans
- Draft proposals, define project scope, and establish project pricing.
- Efficiently manage project budgets and phases.
- Conduct contract reviews and mentor junior consultants.
- Perform on-site inspections for code compliance.
- Prepare detailed code reports and reviews of architectural plans.
- Participate in meetings with clients and authorities.
- Conduct commissioning and inspections of safety systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection (preferred), mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, architectural, or industrial engineering.
- 7+ years in Fire Protection and Life Safety Engineering.
- Prior project management experience.
- Leadership, strong work ethic, and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Professional Engineering licensure preferred.
- AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency preferred.
