Position Highlights:

• Work location: Carrollton, TX
• Work hours: Full time (40 hours)
• Evening Shift: Monday – Friday; 03:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• Salary: Based on relevant experience

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in similar position (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Committed to provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient in the use of telephone switchboards.

Position Responsibilities:

· The Room Control Coordinator obtains patient information to assign, control, and log appropriate service accommodations for patients admitted for care.

· Coordinates special transfers according to room availability and admission approval from other medical facilities

· Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, route calls and relays messages.

· Answers “code phone” and pages appropriate information.

· Appropriately escalates potential service issues to management when necessary.
