3 MONTH CONTRACT

Summary

• Department: Surgery
• Shift Timing: 19:00-07:30 Hours- Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
• Per Week: 36 Hours
• Hospital unit: OR Unit descriptions
• Nurse to patient ratios 1:1 Patient population ALL surgical patients, all ages # beds per unit 14 OR’s and 2 procedure rooms Other staff/resources on the unit orderlies, unit secretary
• Certifications required per unit none Case type: All types except for open heart .

Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
