- Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.
- Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual, cultural, and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.
- Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.
- Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship along the continuum of care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current New York State RN License required.
- ANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty preferred.
- 1 year med/surg experience and 1 year specialty experience preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
- IV/Phlebotomy skills necessary.
