About the Role: United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Surgery to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Surgical unit works as a team to successfully complete surgical procedures. The unit also cares for patients pre and post operation. The operations completed are a broad range of procedures and vast majority of cases are able to go home same day.

Qualifications
Schedule: 8 hour shifts Monday – Friday, no weekends
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing admission process
- Releasing orders, reviewing charts, obtaining consents
- Prepping patient for operation – IVs, administering medication
- Monitoring patients post operation
Qualifications:
- A valid RN license
- Med Surg experience needed
- Operating room experience needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
