Description:
Part Time (24 hours/week) Hybrid Position
Reviews patient safety events submitted into the Electronic Event Reporting System (Midas).
Identifies significant patient safety events and immediately notifies the Director of Risk Management/ Patient Safety Provides education to Midas Event Managers
Runs monthly Midas event reports and provides data to departments.
Runs monthly reports for Patient Safety Committee
Performs Focus Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE)
Leads the recall system One Recall and works closely with involved areas
Assists with audits as needed.
Attends Risk Management /Patient Safety meeting minutes and documents meeting actions and follow-up as needed.
Assist with legal discovery requests
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field required (RN preferred)
- Related Experience
Minimum: 2 years' experience in healthcare
Preferred: 2 years' experience in hospital quality, risk management or patient safety.
Excellent communication skills are imperative
