Safety Specialist

How will you succeed in this role?

Aside from being tasked with overseeing the safety program and policies across all Florida locations, you will develop and execute health and safety plans in alignment with legal guidelines, collaborating with the Corporate Safety Team as necessary. Additionally, you will establish and implement customer site-specific safety plans and conduct safety training sessions for both new and current employees, ensuring compliance with annual safety training requirements such as OSHA-10/30 certifications. Your responsibilities will extend to completing OSHA logs and annual reporting, inspecting safety equipment and machinery, and providing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. In the event of work-related accidents or incidents, you will conduct thorough investigations to identify causes and implement preventative measures. Furthermore, you will be responsible for enforcing safety policies in both warehouse and company-owned vehicle operations, ensuring safety compliance across all Stark facilities in Florida.

What we would love to see:

• Associate degree in related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five plus (5+) years of experience in Risk Control, Health & Safety specific to field service industries and construction is required.
• Knowledge of Federal and state law is required.
