The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall leadership responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and BSA mission/vision. The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff as well as strives to achieve efficient, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- BSN or actively enrolled/pursuing BSN, must complete within 24 months
- Current License as RN in State of Texas
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
- Chemo Certification required within 6 months
- Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN Certification) preferred
- Previous acute care experience in Oncology
- Three years of experience in clinical specialty - Oncology
