About the role
The Risk Manager is responsible for directing the purchase of insurance programs, administration of claims and loss control activities and management of relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers and TPAs. The role will also entail promoting loss prevention, identifying exposures, and recommending solutions. The Risk Manager will work closely with MyEyeDr.'s Legal, Operations, Professional Services and Finance teams and report findings of risk exposures to senior management.
This role reports to the Treasury Director and is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of our Raleigh, NC office. You Will

• Manage all claims processing and coordinate with offices for appropriate documentation and support.
• Evaluate insurance coverage - identify exposures and assess liability through evaluation and reporting of claim loss statistics and trends.
• Gather all exposure data to support annual insurance renewal.
• Review insurance clauses in contracts and work with Legal team to ensure adequate coverage by vendors to Company.
• Direct all quarterly claim reviews with broker.
• Manage annual business insurance audit process with broker.
• Track monthly KPIs and report findings quarterly to senior management.
• Reconcile monthly insurance carrier deductible billing and third party spend.
• Interface with risk management third parties to ensure adherence to contract terms, service levels, and KPIs.
• Partner with internal groups such as Real Estate, Operations, Supply Chain, etc. to understand risk and reduce exposures.
• Review and assess risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations and implement modifications and improvements in partnership with Legal team.
• Oversee all property inspections from walk through, corrective action identification and closure.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics or similar
• ARM or CRM certification preferred
• 5 years of risk management, insurance, or claims experience required
