Overview
Client First Technologies currently is seeking an experienced Risk Manager who will lead and work as a part of a team to apply their knowledge to analyze, report, and manage risks for a logistics / supply chain program office.
This is a full-time, on-site position supporting our federal customer in Washington, DC. CFT offers a full benefits package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates closely with project operations and management, and other stakeholders
- Develop and update risk registers and implementing risk management policies and procedures
- Communicate risk to leadership and stakeholders
- Track and monitor project risks and assess their potential impact on the program
- Assist in coordinating responses to Enterprise Risk entities
- Assist in implementing risk mitigation and contingency plans
- Create risk management tutorial materials and hold tutorial sessions for program office staff
- Plan, hold, and facilitate risk review meetings
- Maintain the risk management plan
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in a business field preferred
- Relevant certification (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) preferred
- Minimum10 years of risk management experience
- Experience developing and administering risk management, including risk identification, risk transfer and risk mitigation measures and techniques
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in communicating risks and mitigations effectively to stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Atlassian Jira
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Required Clearances and Screenings
- The ability to successfully satisfy a government Tier 2/Moderate Risk Background Investigation. A current VA background investigation (or equivalent – e.g., DoD Tier 3/Secret) is preferred.
