As a Barclays Risk and Control Analyst, you will support Risk and Control for the US Global Payments North America teams reporting into VP Governance Risk and Control GPNA. You will have the opportunity to assist with all aspects of user access and system Governance and Control relating to Logical compliance to CIA controls, MPP Policy, SOPS and all aspect of Risk and Control requirements in operations.

What will you be doing:
• Supporting management in the implementation of Risk Governance framework in all area's reporting under the Director of Wholesale Lending US
• Assisting team in training, documenting and developing testing documents for all controls associated with Payment operations and maintaining a governance program
• Assisting in ensuring system segregation of duties in all areas within Banking Operations
• Assisting management to ensure compliance to Manual Payment Policy and Standard Operating Procedures and maintains/updates operating procedures as required
• Ensuring statistical data for MI reporting is completed and embedded within the operation
• Performing assurance testing of operating and SOX controls completing related test scripts, updates to ORAC and periodic dashboards for review by the Risk and Control VP
• Assisting management and aiding as coordinator for Risk Event Flashes, reports, issues, actions, and lessons learnt
• Completing timely updates in ORAC related to all aspects of Risk & Control processing requirements, RCSA, control testing & annual RCSA reviews with management
What we're looking for:
• A four-year college degree, with more than two years of experience Risk and Control
• Proven track record of meeting processing deadlines
• Ability to draw logical conclusions
• General understanding of risk in payment operations
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge and experience working in Risk and assisting the operations team
• Working knowledge of ORAC and basic knowledge of systems used by GPNA
• Proven track record of meeting processing deadlines
