Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a ITGC & IS Risk Analyst to join our team in Cypress, CA or Marietta, GA. The ITGC & IS Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing a strong ITGC risk and information security framework and Enterprise-Wide / Integrated Risk Management approach. The incumbent will collaborate with various business units across different region and foster the global GRC community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop the global ITGC risk and information security methodology, policies, and tools, commensurate with the aggregate risk profile, whilst addressing region’s idiosyncrasies.
- Ensure the organization´s ITGC risk and information security policies, limits, and strategies are following applicable regulations, and strategic imperatives of the organization.
- Oversee and monitors the ITGC risk and information security activities of the organization and business unities.
- Provide advice, challenge, and support to business units to drive proactive and effective ITGC risk and information security.
- Liaise with other risk overseers to integrate the risks and enhance the risk, internal control and compliance program and system.
- Support the GRC assessment and the definition of ITGC Risk and Information Security KRIs, monitor trends, incidents, and breaches. Define local action plans, and support and follow-up region’s countermeasures.
- Define and monitor the execution of the regions’ internal control monitoring plan (ICMP). Undertake the organization’s ICMP. Monitor local and challenge the region’s action plan effectiveness and progress for failed controls.
- Develop periodic and ad hoc reporting of ITGC Risk and Information Security exposures, as well as related losses and ISsues. Liaise with regulatory authorities, internal and external audits.
- Establish a regular ITGC risk and information security awareness campaign and training to strengthen the corporate culture.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field, from an accredited university.
- CISSP, CISM and /or other information security management certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in: Banking, Financial Services
- 8+ years of experience in:
- risk management with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situation and through all layers of technology.
- subject matter expertise in application security, vulnerability testing and development of risk appetite.
- evaluating ITGC and information security risks, including cyber security controls.
- implementing and managing ITGC and information risks and security standards.
- assessing architecture, software design, networking, and cloud infrastructure. - 4 years of experience with data protection’s regulation, processes, risks, impacts, and controls assessment.
- Knowledge and experience in local and international regulations regarding ITGC and information security risks.

The pay range for this position is $102,680 to $116,817. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha’s Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
