JOB SUMMARY:
The Employee Recruitment & Retention Specialist acts as ambassador to Doctors Hospital employees and prospective employees, providing information and support services at all stages of the employee life cycle: retention, applicant onboarding, orientation, employment processes and Lawson data entry. The Employee Recruitment & Retention Specialist works with Director in developing strategies to recruit and retain a strong work force and promotes Doctors Hospital as an employer of choice. Handle multiple priorities within appropriate task deadlines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Research and develop opportunities to retain, and promote a culturally diverse workforce.
- Develop and conduct “exit/stay” interviews towards the goal of strengthening employee retention strategies.
- Conducts offboarding interview with resigning or retiring employees, tracking reasons for voluntary resignations to inform future HR recruitment and retention strategies.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the recruitment efforts and process statuses.
- Coordinates the process of receiving accurate documents and the completion of pre-employment requirements
- Communicates important information to spark and maintain the interest levels of prospective candidates.
- Track metrics and submits required reporting.
- Maintains the past, present, and future candidates in the ICIMS Platform.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in healthcare required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to coach and counsel employees as needed and maintain positive relationships with individuals of all levels.
- Ability to learn, use, and train others on a variety of software programs and learn new software/systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
