Retail Sales Associate

We are Sycamore & Stone Farm, a 5 acre 18th century property nestled in Chester Springs, PA. Featuring our beautiful retail store in a stone barn, we specialize in handcrafted goods, DIY classes, engaging community events, and custom wood furniture. We're currently hiring part-time Retail Store Associates. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years Retail Sales experience, the ability to lift 50lbs, excel in excellent customer service, effective communication, attention to detail, and teamwork. If you're approachable, reliable, and have home decor/interior design knowledge, we’d love for you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, Square.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise

Requirements:
- Previous experience in Retail Sales is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette

-Ability to work Friday-Sunday with occasional weekdays.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
