Swap Boutique has a great opportunity for Retail Associates both full and part-time (potential for growth to management) for our beautiful and new Magazine Street location. Swap Boutique is a designer women's clothing shop with multiple successful locations. Our days are filled with incoming and outgoing designer handbags, apparel, and accessories.

Retail Associate responsibilities include working with store customers, social media posting and communications, and working with store inventory.

Our ideal candidate will have a customer service focus, a professional appearance, good computer skills, and an eye for fashion. You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal skills will also be very useful. Significant opportunities for growth and management development exist.

Ultimately, the duty of the Retail Associate is to make sure our stores meet the customer service expectations of our clients, while supporting store sales efforts and keeping our customers happy! Full Time or Part Time available with flexible schedule options. Shop hours: Mon-Sat 10am - 6pm. Sunday 12pm - 5pm

We will train in our products and systems, but some retail experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales by providing expert knowledge, superior service, styling, merchandising, and building strong customer relations with our coveted clients
• Meet daily and monthly sales goals. Promote our product and brand through event planning, social media, perks programs, and by maintaining a dedicated wish book
• Work independently, and foster a positive and productive work environment
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment for staff and customers
• Select, price, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory
• Promote quality service by meeting standards
• Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
• Act as our store’s representative

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail environments or similar positions
• Familiarity with customer service principles
• Good math skills
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Photography and social media experience also a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
