The Riviera Country Club is looking for Restaurant Managersand Assistant Restaurant Managers. We are searching for friendly, energetic and highly motivated individuals who are looking to thrive in a team-oriented environment with enhancing our Service culture at all times. They would be responsible for assuring a high standard of service, hospitality and appearance in personnel and cleanliness of dining room. Ensures timeliness of food service. Motivate, support, supervise and train our dining room staff.

The tradition of the Riviera Country Club has been to provide a second home to its large family of members since its inception in 1945. The Club is a gathering place of members, their family, friends, and business employees. The Riviera Country Club has a proud history of social events and tradition, ranging from seasonal balls, celebrated golf and tennis tournaments, the popular and unique Art Show, and a year-long series of holiday celebrations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan’s dining room set-up based on anticipated counts and needs.
• Has a regular communication with the F&B Concierge in regards to Restaurant Reservations.
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivate, support and evaluates dining room staff.
• Performs daily POS closeout.
• Verifies proper distribution of stations and hours for Restaurant Staff.
• Receives, resolves and reports any issues concerning dining room service.
• Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.
• Assures that all side-work is accomplished·
• Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel
• Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining room areas
• Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room service procedures and layout.
• Develops and continually updates and refines policy and procedure manuals for service staff to increase quality.
• May serve as Manager on duty.
• Assists in developing wine lists and beverage promotions.
• Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by the Clubhouse Manager.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two + years of dining room supervisory experience in a private club/ restaurant, or hotel preferred
• Must be able to multitask.
• The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule
• The candidate must have English language skills to clearly communicate verbally. Spanish language skills are a benefit.
• The Candidate must have a passion for the F&B and the private Country Club industry.
