DISC Village, Inc. is a private non-profit behavioral health organization that has been operating in and throughout the Big Bend area of North Florida for over 50 years. Natural Bridge Recovery Center - Adult male residential substance abuse treatment program, located on a 200-acre campus in a quiet rustic setting that houses an array of residential treatment facilities with a focus on clinical treatment, relapse prevention and developing an aftercare plan.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all aspects of program management and compliance with contracts and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Case Management services as needed with community partners, client’s family members, and/or other service providers.
- Monitor utilization of Residential funding sources and ensure all requirements for each funding source has been met.
- Conduct staff meetings and coordinate staff training.
- Personnel functions for staff such as hiring, time sheets, performance evaluations, and disciplinary issues.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, education groups, house meetings, support group meetings and evening wrap-ups as needed.
- Carry a small caseload as needed and provide therapeutic services such as individual sessions and group counseling.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a behavioral science field or bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field. Certification from the state of Florida as a Certified Additions Professional (CAP ) which may substitute for a master's degree.
- Experience working with substance abuse clients in a residential setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and computer skills are essential.
- On-call for program and agency needs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
