POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee day to day operation of Residential Shelter. Assists the Regional Director in all aspects of the administration and management of the program. Leads and directs team members in areas including but not limited to regulations/standards compliance, facility-specific human resources functions, budget development /monitoring, and implementation of the youth development system.
Specific job responsibilities and goals include but are not limited to:
- Provide(s) direct supervision to Youth Development Staff.
- Oversees and monitors reports, forms and admission packets to ensure accuracy, completeness and that policy and procedure is being followed appropriately.
- Oversees and coordinates with the Team Lead the timely completion of contractual requirements including but not limited to fire drills, mock emergency drills, health inspections, sharps count, chemical inventory, MSDS sheets, medication management, etc.
- Oversee safety coordination for the facility.
- Facilitate the delivery and compliance with the Youth Development System (YDS) amongst all staff under direct supervision.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility through daily checks and facilitate a culture of cleanliness amongst the staff and youth.
- Assists the Program Manager with QI process/system and compliance with COA standards.
- Will assist Program Manager with fund raising responsibilities as assigned at Residential Shelter.
- In conjunction with the Program Manager, oversees and ensures scheduling of Youth Development Staff is in compliance with licensing standards and budgetary requirements.
- Participates on community/regional committees, workgroups, collaborative teams as assigned.
- Assists Program Manager with recruitment, hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversees and ensures compliance with Department of Health (DOH) food program including budgetary requirements.
- Identifies and coordinates comprehensive training needs of Youth Development Staff.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in social work or human services and 2+ years of experience working with children, or
- 2 years of college and 3 years of experience working with children
