Your Role:
Tenable is seeking a Research Manager to lead our NASL Integrations Team (NINT). This team is responsible for developing and maintaining third-party integrations with Tenable’s products. In this role, you will work with product management to prioritize team efforts, triage customer support issues, and foster relationships with our integration partners. As the manager of this team, you will focus heavily on supporting the developers by providing predictable processes and encouraging professional growth. Finally, you will have the opportunity to leverage your understanding of our customers’ unique environments to identify new integrations and improve customer experience.
Your Opportunity:
- Hands-on, day-to-day team leadership to include prioritizing, reviewing, and championing initiatives and other research projects
- Establish processes that enable the team to improve efficiency and minimize uncertainty
- Mentor talented research engineers on the team and help recruit enthusiastic, innovative researchers to grow the team
- Collaborate closely with other research teams, program management, and various parts of the Tenable Product organization on different projects
- Perform People Management tasks such as performance reviews, employee time off, HR Coordination, IT resource management, etc.
- Keep the team accountable & be accountable for the team and all its members

What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of management experience. Previous experience in the cyber security and/or software engineering domains is a plus
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience working with or managing Agile teams
- Prior experience working with international and hybrid teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and drive efforts from teams across multiple organizations
- Keep up-to-date with the advancements and developments in the security industry and perform original research to keep our customers secure
- Adaptable and able to shift priorities among initiatives as needed
- The ability to solve problems logically, research options, and focus on meaningful data to draw the correct conclusions

The base salary range for this position is $142,000.00 - $189,333.33 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
