About the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of today's technological world. Job Summary

The Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility in the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Research Institute (GTMI) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a non tenure-track research faculty position.

As a flagship component of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI), AMPF is a special place where industry works alongside researchers and students to take early stage concept from idea to reality.

We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our research group as a Research Engineer. The successful candidate will be a motivated and creative individual that will pioneer Digital Manufacturing, Hybrid Manufacturing, Industrial Sensors and Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing Architectures, Manufacturing Cybersecurity. They will take a lead role in experimental design, execution of experiments, and interpretation of results to achieve the major objectives of projects.

The successful candidate will thrive on teamwork and collaboration. They will embrace a fast-paced environment and work closely with lab members to cultivate a positive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities
    Perform research for sponsored projects.Write periodic progress reports for sponsored projects.Lead the preparation of journal articles.Assist with the writing of proposals.Mentor and train undergraduate and graduate students.
Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications
    Preferred experience working on Federally funded projects (DoE, DoD, DoC) Preferred concentration in Robotics.
