Research Coordinator I - Teen Health Clinic Cullen

Summary

The coordinator will work on BTHC grants, including the CDC ESSHCI grant. They will maintain and ensure the accuracy of data collection methods, documentation/records, and organization of the data related to this project as well as help with data collection and analysis and reporting required. The coordinator will help with data collection and analysis and reporting required including number and type of engagement with community partners, patient satisfaction survey, community partner survey, monthly reports capturing total number of patients served by each clinic site stratified by demographics, total number or eligible patients offered treatment as prevention, and number of STI cases and treatment. The Coordinator will also serve as the lead for the Youth Advisory Council, helping to design, recruit, implement and maintain member participation.

The Baylor Teen Health Clinic currently provides pregnancy testing, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV/AIDS education and screening, primary healthcare, and case management services to teens, their partners, and adolescents in Harris County. The clinics provide services to teens from the age of 13-24. Services provided include: comprehensive exams (male & female), gynecological services, birth control and family planning, sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment, primary healthcare, immunizations, HIV/AIDS education and screening.

This position will require you to work occasional evenings to accommodate teens schedule.

Job Duties

• Collects study subject information for a grant reporting and research study.
• Enters research data into grant database.
• Maintains grant files.
• Data collection and analysis and reporting per grant requirements
• Work with community organizations, partners and stakeholders on grant related tasks
• Serve as the lead for the Youth Advisory Council
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with online survey tools and social media outlets is a plus.
• Experience with youth engagement is a plus.
• Experience with data analytics is a plus.
• Versed with Microsoft Office Products preferred.
