- Design, organize, and conduct research using established scientific and engineering procedures participation in research data collection and documentation.
- Develop and evaluate new research techniques and procedures with documentation, within relevant guidelines and protocols.
- Summarize findings and publish results in research journals.
- Inspire strategies for broadening participation, for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive future of work in engineering.
- Support grant proposal efforts; provide supervision and guidance to students, and researchers.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering or a closely related field. While the department is primarily interested in candidates with backgrounds in human factors engineering, data analytics, and manufacturing, qualified candidates in all areas of industrial and systems engineering or closely related fields are welcome to apply.
