Research and Development Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Research and Development Specialist with a background in supporting federal programs. As a Research and Development Specialist your primary responsibility is to lead Research and Development initiatives aimed at innovating and improving program assessment processes. You will analyze trends in education and technology, identifying opportunities for the program to enhance utility and cost-efficiency. While not directly involved in R&D tasks, this role involves coordination with R&D teams to align initiatives with the overall strategic plan and assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Research and Development Leadership:
- Lead initiatives to innovate and improve program assessment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Trend Analysis:
- Analyze trends in education and technology to identify opportunities for program enhancement in utility and cost-efficiency.
3. Coordination with R&D Teams:
- Collaborate with R&D teams to coordinate initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic plan and assessment objectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Advanced degree in Educational Research, Psychometrics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in assessment Research and the development of testing methodologies.
- Proven track record of innovation in the field of educational assessments.
- Strong leadership skills to guide Research and Development initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking to align R&D efforts with the overall goals of the organization.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
