Form of workFord Motors is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced 3DX specialist to join their team in Dearborn, MI, and work on-site at PDC (Product Development Center). The ideal candidate should have a vast knowledge of Dassault 3DX toolset, including 3DEXCITE, 3DEXPERIENCE (Platform), 3DVIA, BIOVIA, CATIA, Centric PLM, DELMIA, ENOVIA, GEOVIA, MEDIDATA, NETVIBES, SIMULIA, and SOLIDWORKS, and should be an expert in 3DX process and tool implementation.
Additionally, the candidate should possess a strong work ethic and a positive, flexible attitude. The Ford work environment is fast-paced, and the candidate will be working on exciting products and key new processes.
You'll have...
- Bachelor in Computer Science or Related Field or Equivalent field experience.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in security modeling experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on follow-through
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and a passion for teaching others
- Experience in automotive design and manufacturing is highly desirable.

- Develop and implement data access strategies in 3DX for various organizations within Ford, its Suppliers and Partners, delivering collaborative yet secure solutions to support on-time vehicle program delivery.
- Support the process and methods that enable concurrent product creation using integrated models (such as MBSE, CAD, CAE, CAM, etc.)
- Develop process and tool methodologies to support secure data management in 3DX
- Support/train engineering and vehicle teams on how to utilize 3DX experience.
- Define and maintain user methods to execute Ford way of working in new 3DX tool
- Analyze access issues, identify root cause, deliver resolution for the engineering community.
- Administrate People & Organization within 3DX, includes license/role allocation.
