As an Economic Development Specialist at MatchAwards, you will play a pivotal role in driving socio-economic growth through our innovative AI-powered Social-Economic Media Platform. You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Economic Development, industry recruiting, and securing federal contracts and grants. Your role will encompass building strategic partnerships, fostering economic opportunities, and contributing to the platform's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth economic analysis to identify growth opportunities for businesses and organizations.
- Collaborate with industry leaders and stakeholders to foster relationships and drive industry recruiting initiatives.
- Research, apply for, and manage federal contracts and grants to support socio-Economic Development projects.
- Implement effective strategies to enhance the platform's reach within the Economic Development sector.
- Actively engage with Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) to understand industry trends and opportunities.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in Economic Development, with a focus on industry recruiting and securing federal contracts and grants.
- Proven track record of successful collaborations with EDOs.
- Experience in utilizing social media platforms for Economic Development purposes.
- Strong understanding of the economic landscape and the ability to identify growth potential.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economic Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certificates: Certifications in Economic Development or related areas are a plus.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in social media management for professional purposes.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of data analysis tools.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Legal and technical skills to negotiate and implement digital contracts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
