Research and Data Analysts (Justice Grants Programs) join our company as associates to support mission-critical projects in justice and homeland security while also helping to strategically grow the company. This is a great role for someone who has 3+ years of relevant work experience in program analysis, research, and performance measurement related grants in a fast-paced environment. Analysts work in a fun, service-oriented team on challenging projects and like to learn and collaborate.
Hybrid Work Environment: Arc Aspicio is currently working in a hybrid work environment where employees at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part-time basis. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area on their start date, ready to work with their team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop logic models, performance measures, and Data collection programs
- Analyze performance measures and other justice data using Excel macros, SPPS, ArcGIS, and Access
- Communicate Research and analytical findings both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences
- Serve as primary point of contact for all performance measurement related support
- Provide exceptional customer service and performance related support
- Problem-solve, performance basic research, and escalate issues when needed
- Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
- Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent consulting, research, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
- Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in research, program analysis, and customer service
- Ability to work in grants management, helping to make sure grants are effectively administered to achieve justice outcomes
- Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred)
- Experience analyzing large data sets using Excel macros, SPPS, ArcGIS, and Access
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
