Summary:
The WBT Banker Academy Program follows an inclusive curriculum, providing introductory rotational training of each department of the bank, both retail and operations. Participants accepted into this program participate in the daily activities of each area, learning the duties required of various positions and developing an understanding of the processes and workflows through on-the-job shadowing. Through this unique opportunity, individuals gain a comprehensive understanding of the promotion of the products, services, and operations of the bank. Adherence to compliance of all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program is required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in banking, finance, economics, or another related field is preferred. In the absence of a degree, at least 2 years of banking experience is required. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication, display superior work ethic, and have outstanding people skills. Must be able to work varied and extended hours with the ability to travel to various locations for training and external education.
