Title: Data Analyst (Student Intern)

Location: Washington DC (1-2 days Onsite)

Clearance: We prefer D.C. Metro area candidates with U.S. Citizenship or Green Card due to public trust clearance requirements.

Role Overview: Areeva Solutions is looking to hire a Data Analyst (Student Intern), to play a crucial role in the collection, entry, review, documentation, inspection, cleaning, and transformation of data into valuable insights for government leadership. The role encompasses various data-related functions, along with engaging in statistical modeling, simulations, and predictive analytics for scientific research. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, contributing to impactful projects and gaining valuable experience in the field of data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collect, enter, and review data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Document and inspect datasets, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement.

· Clean and transform data into usable formats for analysis and reporting.

· Provide technical support for database management systems.

· Contribute to the design and optimization of database structures.

· Conduct data mining and fusion activities to extract valuable insights.

· Perform statistical evaluations to aid decision-making processes.

· Engage in statistical modeling, simulations, and predictive analytics for science research.

· Collaborate with team members to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Qualification:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

· Active enrollment in a Master’s degree program, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

· Familiarity with database management systems and data visualization tools.

· Effective communication skills and ability to present findings to diverse audiences.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
