The Business Analyst guides a holistic change in how we measure, report, and manage our business performance. This role will be charged with evolving our reporting capabilities to drive greater alignment and efficiencies within your assigned functional area. This person will be responsible for building sustainable global reporting to understand, inform and drive functional effectiveness at Executive level and throughout the function.
**This person must be located in Minnesota and able to come to our office in Bloomington on a hybrid basis**
What you'll be doing...
- Works closely with the functional Leadership to enhance and optimize business processes.
- Analyzes and communicates trend data.
- Searches for optimal internal and SalesForce (SFDC) system efficiencies.
- Provides department specific process support
- Monitors the quality of functional data through dashboards/KPI's and coordinates with other functional Business Analysts to ensure accuracy of underlying data.
- Present numbers/data to executives/functional stakeholders and translate them into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making
- Communicates all relevant SFDC environment changes/updates for the function.
- Assists functional users in troubleshooting SFDC functional inquiries
- Create and Manage functional SFDC cases
- Evolves reporting dashboards, metrics, KPI's and ROI models, with focus on key levels of decision making: executive insights, functional operations, and tactical level optimization.
- Builds reporting to support and track performance of Key Metrics .
- Create periodic reporting tailored for functional stakeholders and delivering these in a repeatable and timely matterProvides ad-hoc reports and analysis for the function including sourcing data from SFDC.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Analyze historical data and market trends to create accurate financial projections and recommend budget allocation optimizations.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders to understand strategies, targets, and performance metrics.
- Collaborating directly with Commercial Success teams to improve overall business agility and ensure alignment across multiple functions.
What you'll bring to us...
- Bachelor's degree in Business or directly Related Field
- 4+ years of business analytics experience, preferably in a Business-to-Business SaaS subscription environment.
- Experience in Salesforce: Reporting, Case Management, Quoting, CPQ, Change Management
- Experience in the rollout of system upgrades or changes.
- Generation of departmental documentation.
- Participation or preparation of training.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Outlook, and Advanced abilities to aggregate and manipulate data through Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment with all levels of employees.
