Job description

RATE OF PAY WILL COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.

Summary: Inside Rental Sales and Service and Rental Unit cleaning, organizing and light maintenance. Responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with equipment rentals. This position is the front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders. Requires strong administrative skills and the ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude and attention to detail. Position will load and unload rental units with occasional small unit delivery and pick up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures rental equipment is clean, serviced, and displayed in organized manner.

Respond to rental request and guide customer through Ewald Kubota rental process.

Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, request, complaints, rental service needs.

Maintain friendly and positive attitude with employees and customers.

Responsible for all administrative rental activity at given location.

Assures all documentation associated with the rental department and are properly and completed.

Continue education and knowledge of related rental products and Kubota equipment.

Develops listening skills to be able to respond and work with all types of people.

Excellent communication, customer service and phone skills.

Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts and potential customers.

Maintain organized and presentable store front

Assist rental customers with loading and unloading equipment

Wash, service and deliver rental equipment as needed.

Maintains company manuals, pricing lists and other documentation in professional manner.

Arrives on time to work and maintain professional appearance.

Perform other duties as required by management

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. One or more years of customer service experience required.

Language Ability:

BILINGUAL Spanish Preferred.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer or an equivalent, Keystone Industry Software, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Certificates and Licenses:

Must have a valid Texas Drivers’ License and a clear driving record.
