Logistics And Rental Coordinator

LHH is actively looking for a Logistics and Rental Coordinator to work for a client on a temp-to-hire bias. 

Title: Logistics and Rental Coordinator 

Duration: Temp to Hire 

Pay: $24-30/hr DOE

Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM 

Address: 100% ONSITE - Dallas, TX 75251

Bachelor's degree preferred!

3 - 5 years of logistics coordination experience

Scheduling, planning, and time management skills required

Must be able to optimize schedules to minimize and maintain low-cost solution

Must be proficient in MS Excel!

MUST PASS BG & DG SCREENS!!

Logistics and Rental Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Logistics and Rental equipment services for a multi-faceted oil and gas service company. This position also facilitates the back-office support related to billing, tracking, and budgeting of these services. 

DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with services manager, engineers, and vendors to identify key Logistics and Rental requirements based on changing needs and the current development plan
• Monitor and direct delivery and logistics activities daily to ensure on-time shipment is optimized from multiple shipping points in different states to the customer
• Research vendors, understand vendor capacities and strengths, build relationships with vendors, and successfully match vendors and locations to the optimal final destination
• Optimize receipt, control, and storage of rental equipment inventory within a multi-state coverage area
• Responsible for assisting in delivering the rental equipment deployment strategy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to efficiently support and scale with the business
• Document project activities and keep project trackers and calendars up to date
• Track and manage project KPIs
• Strong understanding of leading indicators related to forthcoming logistics issues
• Ability to adjust on the fly as logistical issues present themselves to minimize and maintain low-cost logistics solutions
• Support project budget and resource management
• Track spend and ensure economic thresholds and budgets are being met
• Works to integrate logistics tracking with Operational Support Center
