Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Supply Chain Planning solutions lead in driving optimal solutions and best of breed digital capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders in gathering business requirements for new capabilities, enhancements, system upgrade or new deployment.
- Perform integration configuration including mapping, loading, transforming and validating data
- Innovate, design and deliver the IT solutions following best practices and aligning People, Process, Technology & Data.
- Partner with IT, Supply Chain and Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) colleagues in exploring solution options, presenting pros and cons and influencing decisions towards cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
- Participate in developing solutions roadmap and strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues for quick resolution, identify the root cause and implement the solution in a timely manner.
- Perform unit and integration tests and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Provide system training on new capabilities to business and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hands on deployment and configuration experience on Demand, Supply and S&OP planning capabilities. Additional experience with Kinaxis-Rapid Response.
- Strong Supply Chain background with solid understanding of demand, supply and S&OP business processes incl. Statistical Forecasting, MRP, Scheduling, Inventory Management etc.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing Supply Chain Planning solutions
- Bachelor's Degree in technical engineering, science field or related discipline is required (Advanced degree (MS or MBA) highly preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant Supply Chain Planning experience
- Experience with configuration of workbooks, key figures, master data & planning parameters along with planning algorithms such as Heuristic and Optimizer.
- Exposure to data integration technologies with SAP-ERP and other non-SAP systems.
- Agile and critical thinker with a passion for innovation
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to strategically collaborate and influence the direction of solution architecture in the defined area of scope
- Strong problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
- Ability to define processes that are appropriate for varying levels of site maturity, balancing agility and discipline
- Demonstrated skill to lead large projects and matrix organizations
- Ability to implement decisions quickly and under pressure
- Ability to balance strategic awareness & direction setting with consistent tactical results
- Good planning, analytical, time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new planning platforms
