Pomeroy is looking to hire a group of IT Help Desk Technicians to support employees of a large global chain restaurant. 5-week training is conducted fully-on site in Louisville, KY. Once training is complete, the job will be fully remote/work from home. 1 year of IT support related role is required. Personality and attitude is key. We are looking for candidates who have a positive attitude, strong people skills, a willingness to learn and take feedback, and someone who works well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Handles Level 1 inbound calls/chats and accurately log interactions within the company’s incident management system.
- Assist employees with Level 1 IT related inquiries such as password resets, general hardware support with computers and POS systems, software updates, and other troubleshooting.
- Conducts appropriate diagnosis/troubleshooting to resolve known conditions.
- Escalates problem tickets within department guidelines when unable to resolve
- Maintains a basic understanding of supported hardware and software, as well as any corresponding operational procedures Manage non phone/chat duties – 10%
Requirements
- 1 year of IT Help Desk support or Hardware Repair role
- Flexible with availability (Shifts are assigned once training is complete and can be anywhere between 9am-4am PM Monday through Sunday)
- Must be willing to work any shift assigned including day, night, and overnight.

- Comp TIA A+ Certification
- ServiceNow Ticketing experience
Schedule
